How-to: Adding a prescriber
A streamlined, step-by-step refresher for adding a new prescriber.
Navigate to the prescriber record and click the + Add Prescriber button.

Enter the relevant information into the Create Prescriber form, starting with the Company Information search field. If the company doesn't exist, click Create Company and/or visit Adding a new company.

Enter the provider's 10-digit number into the NPI field and select the appropriate result from the dropdown menu.

Fill out the prescriber’s Personal Information, including their name, contact information, and areas of expertise, if available.

Add the prescriber's Primary Clinic Address. Note that entering the street address into the related field provides a dropdown menu to assist in autocompleting the address.

Add the prescriber's DEA License Information following the standard format(s), displayed in the DEA License field.

Click Save Prescriber to add the new prescriber into the system.
